REVIEW - CAMP NERD by Bella Jewel

Lei and eight other members of her orchestra were on their way to enjoy a much needed month of relaxation and fun.  They had just taken 2nd place in a state-wide competition and were exhausted.  As their bus pulls into the massive ranch, she and her best friend Kara are speechless of the beauty surrounding them.

And that didn't just stop with the ranch before them.  There were six of the most gorgeous men she has ever seen standing on the wrap-around porch of the main house.

When the bus came to a halt as the organizer of this trip, Lei went to meet the owner and was so spellbound by his looks she missed her step landing in his arms.  Talk about awkward.

I loved this book!  It is very well written and all of the characters are fully developed and relatable.  I don't read blurbs or reviews before starting a book so it gives me fresh eyes when reading, so I was surprised by the title and expected a younger group and more of a summer camp instead of a relaxing retreat with excursions.

Lei is a nerd.  An aspiring writer, wearing glasses and not overly confident of her looks.  And if it can happen, she is the one to land in the embarrassing situation.  Laugh out loud embarrassing.

Rhett is gorgeous to the point of cocky.  The chemistry between Lei and Rhett is immediate and slowly burns to scorching.  He and his friends turned Rhett's family ranch into a retreat hoping to clean up their image and hide their other dangerous activities.  Although they are hinted at no specifics are given as to the unlawful things they are hiding.

This book is action packed with a mystery to be solved.  Bella Jewel has written a wonderful rom-com romantic suspense.  There is laughter, comradery, danger, and steamy hot s*x!

I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more by Bella Jewel!
