She met Larry on a dating app. She was new to town and thought it would be a good way to meet new people. But, imagine her shock when the party that was being held in his honor for being a top salesman turned out to be a sex party. The door was answered by a dominatrix complete with her human dog. Yes, she was leading a naked man around on all fours with a leash.
Evidently, pharmaceutical representative meant drug dealer. At least she got a great pair of shoes before a gorgeous man with electric blue eyes suggested it might not be her type of party and she should take an exit.
Hailey was with her cousin salivating over the offered cupcakes when she turns around to find electric blue eyes watching her. How did he get out of jail? Come to find out he was not only the cousin of the bakery's husband, but he was a vice detective.
I loved this book! Prepare to laugh! This book is very well written and the characters are very relatable! This book is action-packed from page one. Hailey hasn't had much luck in the love department and her date with Larry will keep you rolling in laughter. The sexual chemistry between Hailey and Austin is smoking from the second their eyes meet and just gets hotter.
I love not only Hailey and Austin, but all the characters and their close knit relationship. This is my first time reading a Alexia Chase book, but it won't be the last!
