REVIEW - TRIPLE THREAT by K Webster

Landry's father is one of the most powerful men in New York.  She does everything to appear the perfect daughter in order to protect her six year old sister Della.  Just a few weeks after Della's birth their mother died of a heart attack.  Something that their father has never forgotten or forgiven.  He hates Della not only for the death of his wife, but for being deaf.

Landry is eighteen, but is a prisoner in her own home with a monster.  He didn't used to be the man he has become.  Since their mother's death you don't know what will set off his temper and whether he will take it out on Della before Landry can intercept and distract him.  But, when he gets drunk that is when Landry's father becomes the real monster.  She is determined to somehow get away and taking Della with her.

Bryant Morelli is determined to undermine his enemy the Constantines.  He learned of a possible merger.  Croft Gaming and Entertainment is looking to turn from billions to trillions with their upcoming gaming system.  Croft wants the prestige of the Constantine name and the Constantines want the money so they plan on joining families through marriage.  Bryant is not going to let that happen.

Sully, Sparrow and Scout are the Mannford triplets and the bastard nephews of Bryant Morelli.  College and nearly their lives were stolen from them by a Constantine, prison stole their mother and the Morellis stole their freedom.  Their uncle wants them to cause a scandal to disrupt a Croft/Constantine marriage.  He wants them to work together, but as one man.  They each have their separate instructions, but they will all go under one name - Ford Mann.

WOW!  Just wow!  This book is very well written and the characters are all fully developed and totally relatable.  I have read many duets/trilogies with a multitude of cliffhangers, but this book has me wanting the the rest of the story more than any other.  These brothers may be triplets, but they couldn't be any different in personality, but they would die for each other.

Where to begin?  Landry is basically a prisoner in a penthouse.  Her father controls every part of her life.  She has no friends and is only allowed out when her father allows and under guard.  He has a tracker on her phone and checks any internet searches.  With no access to money she doesn't know how she and Della will escape their nightmare.

These triplets...boy do they drive Landry crazy.  She knows something is strange about Ford and is beginning to think he has a multiple personality disorder.  She can't tell who she is dealing with until she sees the subtle change in his eye color.  Will he be cocky, broody or just plan psycho?

This book takes twists and turns and has a major twist in it's cliffhanger.  I can't wait to see what happens next!  Highly recommend!!!
