REVIEW - THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA by Elizabeth O'Roark

Drew had just spent 13 hours on a plane to meet her ex-boyfriend "Six" in Hawaii.  Only to arrive and find out that his band had been arrested in Japan and was awaiting release and she was expected to vacation with his parents, who she had met once, his brother, Josh, and girlfriend.  Both who she couldn't stand.

If it wasn't for their mother, who had just undergone chemo treatment, she would have turned around to escape this holiday from h3ll.

I loved this book!  It is very well written and the characters are fully developed.  Imagine having to spend two week's with people you not only don't know and then top it with non-stop sparks...because no-one wanted to be there.  Talk about tense.

I love these characters.  Drew may be a top liner singer, but she has some major issues to deal with.  The sparks that fly between Drew and Josh burn hot...first with hatred and then with forbidden love.  There are no words for Six and Sloane.

I love this storyline.  Drew and Josh are thrown together at every turn, but the forced proximity forces them to get to know each other.  Elizabeth O'Roark kept me totally enthralled with Drew and Josh and gave me all the feels.  This is a true enemies to lovers story!
