Daniela is with Isabel in her father's office when she is told that Antonio Huntsman has requested to speak with her.  Despite Isabel trying to get him to return during normal mourning visiting hours, he is now sitting in front of her and although he states it is just a social call he wants to know if she has plans on how to keep the vineyard in operation.

She tells Antonio the same lie that she has given everyone before him.  That she plans to visit her father's aunt in Canada and spend time with her before returning to Porto.  In fact, she has been making plans to meet Isabel, her husband and their daughter Valentina and go into hiding until it is safe to return to her beloved home.

She may have had a crush on Antonio when she was younger, but that all changed after her mother was murdered.  He may have not been present, but he was still the enemy and she would go to her grave with her secret.

I loved this book!  Talk about the wedding of the year!  This book is very well written and the characters are amazing!  This is my first book by Eva Charles, but it definitely won't be the last.  Her words grabbed me from page one.  The chemistry between Antonio and Daniela is smoking hot and his depraved thoughts will melt your Kindle.

This book is action packed from start to finish!  It is full of danger, suspense and smoking hot $ex!  Antonio isn't happy with the agreement that he made with Manuel, but he will honor his blood oath to the death.  Antonio is intense.  Sexy, dangerous and powerful.  Daniela will do anything for those she loves...even marry the devil her father betrothed her to without her knowledge.

This book is full of twists and turns with an explosive ending and a mind-blowing cliffhanger.  This is definitely a book and series worth reading!  I can't wait to see what Daniela is about to reveal and how it will play into a story that is already full of intrigue!
