***Synopsis***

When Destiny Dust is accidently spilled into the Eternal Waters, all of the Gods and Goddesses have a healthy serving. The Fates have their hands full as Gods are falling in love with each other and heavens forbid—humans! Each story is about a different couple with at least one god or goddess and a guaranteed happily ever after.

What is the sub-genre and trope?  Did your characters lead you to this genre or was that decided before the story began?

This is a second chance romance. Fates and Monsters helps to teach Shai, the god of Destiny, that perhaps even an old dog (or God) can learn to be a better man.

Are you more character or plot driven?

Characters move the plots. 😊

With many main and secondary characters, how do you keep them separated in your mind?  Do you have a story/vision board above your workspace?

I have used Google jamboards, that really helps.

I know from previous interviews that characters take on a life of their own.  Were any of the characters in this series determined to take their own direction instead of where you initially wanted them to go?

Sometimes they can really give you a run for your money. I think it’s good to let your characters have a little free reign as long as you keep control of the whole.

Are any of the male POVs based on anyone you know?

Not anyone I know personally, but maybe some of the guys I have dated. LOL

Are any of the female POVs based on anyone you know?

Not personally no.

Was there any one character/scene that was harder to write about than the other?

When he jumps into the different bodies, I wanted to make sure he was respectful of their bodies and lives.

I know that we aren’t supposed to have “favorites” as far as our children, but seriously, who’s your favorite character and why?

Shai, he’s a badass hockey player that learns he can be more than just a jock.

Who is your favorite couple and why did you decide on their dynamics?

Shai and Brigid, because she holds out until he treats her with the respect she deserves.

How do you get inside these characters’ heads to find their perfect HEA?

You have to truly become that character.

What scene in this book sticks out the most for you?  Why?

When he’s the football player and he can’t figure out why the parents are being so horrible to him.

Why? I feel like there are so many kids that struggle to come out to their parents.

This question is if you write in MULTIPLE POVs not just the hero and heroine - I love the multiple POVs in a book.  It’s not just the hero and heroine, but we get inside the heads of multiple characters throughout this series.  I feel that it gives the story further depth.  Do you think you will write another book or series following this multiple POV outline? (if applicable)

The prequel is Brigid, but the book is from Shai.

How long did it take you to write this book?

Three months

If you met these characters in real life would you get along?

YES! They are really fun

Series question – Did you know in advance that you were going to write this as a series or did one of the characters in book one demand their own story?

Yes, when I created the series I wanted something that would toss the gods on their ear.

If your book/series were made into a movie, which actors do you see as playing your characters?

Definitely a big hockey player for Shai, and then Priyanka Chopra Jonas for Brigid

Can you give us a hint as to what we can expect next?  Whether a new book and series or a sequel to an existing series?  Can you share a small tease?

I might have Shai and Brigid discover the D/s life. I think the Gods with their own kink club could be fun. 😊

BLURB:

There is a fine line between gods and monsters, and once I figure out what that is, you'll be the first to know.

Shai, God of Destiny
Imagine showing up at the pearly gates only to find out that your name isn't on the list. You know THE LIST. The one that either ensures fluffy white wings and pillowy clouds, or an eternity of fire and brimstone. Yeah, that list, and my name isn't on it.

Thankfully, a leggy goddess shows up and saves my bacon. Only the job she has for me is a heck of a lot harder than what I'd bargained for. And that beautiful goddess, she seems to have a personal vendetta against me. It's almost as if we've met before, but that's crazy, isn't it?

Brigid, the Goddess of Fertility
It's just my luck that the god who caused my fall from glory just happens to be my brand new employee. Only he doesn't remember anything about our past, or his part in it. How can I remain impartial when half the time I want to knock his block off and the other half I am daydreaming about those steamy, err, library sessions?

A god can't change his stripes, can he? Find out in this hilarious romantic comedy where two star crossed gods learn there are some things worth fighting for. Because if they fail... Well, let’s just say their punishment is a fate far worse than anything Shai and Brigid could have imagined on their own. And they are pretty creative—especially with bedroom games.
