REVIEW - FLIRT LIKE A FOOL by Ellen Brooks

Olivia has just landed at the Candy Cane Key Airport and is dead tired. She finally found her brother's best friend's address at the bottom of her huge bag when she looks up and realizes that her luggage is not on the carousel.

When her brother told her that his best friend would be away for a week on a special mission for the Coast Guard she grabbed at the opportunity to escape Seattle to spend a week on a houseboat in the holiday-themed island in Florida.

She is determined to enjoy the upcoming week and forget about her cheating ex-fiance and her wedding that was supposed to be the next day. Her goal is to find the woman she was before she wasted two years of her life with a man who thought cheating was okay. She plans to flirt like a fool and have fun and the guy at the Lost Luggage counter is her first target.

When she arrives at her destination she falls facedown on the bed dead tired. She wakes a few hours later only to realize that her brother mixed up the dates and his friend AJ is standing in his kitchen wondering who she was and how she knew his keycode.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Olivia is determined to have fun and flirt away and AJ is just as determined to keep her safe. This might be a short story, but there is plenty of emotion packed within the pages.

This is the first book that I have read by Ellen Brooks and I look forward to reading more. Highly recommend.
