Jackie sat in shock in the limo as Mr. Russo pulled his gun and shot her husband in the head. They had been walking to get her midnight craving when the limo pulled up next to them with the demand to get inside.

Now that she had her first womanly cycle she was put to work and no longer allowed to leave the brothel run by her mother... who preferred to be called Madam.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.
This has to be one of the best fairytale retellings I have read! Beware - this dark mafia romance contains non-consent and human trafficking and so many twists! Highly recommend!
