REVIEW - BAD BLOOD by JA LaFrance & Susan Horsnell

The area they were in was supposed to be a ghost town, she had scouted the area herself.  As she races out of the commander's tent she looks down in shock.  All she saw before everything turned black was tons of blood pouring from her leg.

Six months ago her life as a Special Forces Marine was over in a blink of an eye.  Her call sign was Daredevil because she took risks and faced danger head on which has caused Daisy to be reprimanded on numerous occasions.

She woke stateside only to be told by Ronin that she had been shot by friendly fire and she was determined to find out why she had been targeted and make sure they were taken down.  She would get her vengeance.

I loved this story.  It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.  This book is action-packed from page one and will keep you turning the pages as Daisy joins the Phoenix Force to find out who had targeted her.

It is full of suspense, intrigue and danger.  This is the first of The Phoenix Force series I have read, but this book is full of recurring characters.  This is a band of women with a variety of backgrounds who work outside of red-tape to get the job done.  Highly recommend.

BAD BLOOD is book six of the multi-author series THE PHOENIX FORCE
