REVIEW - BEAUTIFUL BEAST by Olivia Peters

Adam had planned on avoiding everyone for at least six months, but he finds a gorgeous woman trespassing.  She is holding a stack of papers with a boxer at her side and they are snooping around his private foyer.

How can he get rid of her without her seeing him exit the elevator to get inside his penthouse apartment?  He has just returned from the nightmare that was Syria and he just needs to be alone to heal.

Belle has just inherited her grandmother Mrs. Alliston's NY apartment and somehow found herself on the wrong floor.  She was in the amazing lobby of the penthouse apartment and then the rude man told her to return to the lobby for the correct elevator that Mrs. Addison was on the floor below his five-story penthouse.  Five-story penthouse...in New York?

The man couldn't even do her the courtesy of speaking to her face-to-face as he spoke through just a crack in the door.  She was determined to make friends with this man if it was the last thing she did.

This has to be one of my favorite Beauty and the Beast retellings.  Adam has scars both inside and out from his time in Syria.  But belle was determined that he not shut out the world and hide in his penthouse.

This story is very well written and the characters are fully developed and totally relatable despite him being a gazillionaire...oh and a mercenary.  I totally loved his description of Belle 'chaos wrapped in a very pretty package'.  He doesn't know what hit him when Belle came into his life.

This book is action-packed from page one and steamy hot!!!  Highly recommend!
