Author at a Glance - KATHI GOLDWYN



Kathi Goldwyn lives a quiet but fulfilling life in Oakland, California. She lives with Earl and her dog Stanley. She has two grown children, one lives in the area and one lives over in Australia with her two grandchildren. She has a great passion for Indie Authors and has spent years promoting their books on Facebook. The writing bug hit her a year ago. She loves romance, love and hope.

Now in her later years she has begun the amazing journey of becoming an author.

It all started with a fan group Wicked Dirty Girls.


I have built two Facebook groups made up of hundreds of kind, amazing women who love to read romance.


I spend countless hours on Facebook, promoting authors, creating friendships, doing giveaways, spreading the word on the books I read and love, and so much more.


I write reviews, tag authors, encourage book sales and interact with their members on a daily basis.


I have a blog Kathi Picks where I post my author's work.  My passion for the written word  has carried over into helping authors chase their dreams, and that is how  Kathi's PA Services was formed.


My mission: to help authors succeed.

SUMMER FLING 2022 WRAP UP


Kathi Goldwyn and Casi McLean also host a Reading Challenge!  I participated in their Winter Reading Challenge and met some wonderful authors!  Looking forward to the Summer Fling Reading Challenge.

SF is a month long event starting in July. It's a read and review challenge to win the top prize of $200. There are 4 sessions, each lasting a week. Readers read and review for a final drawing at the end of the event. Each time they review, their name is entered into the drawing again and again. Book are FREE, daily parties are FREE and tons of prizes are FREE. The idea is to have summer FUN, no stress, no race to the end. Meet all our authors and enjoy their work.

Event starts on July 15th.

Every time you contact an author for a gift of their book, proof of last review is required. If you are a reader it's free to sign up. Authors are required to have more than a couple published works and a certain level of average reviews. All of this is broken down on the sign up form.

 Ask for a link. Once the genre is filled that's it though, space is limited.

The purpose of Summer Fling is two fold. It gives author exposure to a ton of new readers. Our hope is that they get good reviews during the month. For readers we hope they discover new one click authors.
