Adrian has been determined to exact his revenge on Nina since he realized that she was Julie's sister. It is because of Julie that his brother is dead. He killed himself after Julie's rejection.
Nina has found out lie after lie told to her since she had been eight years old. She just found out that her dad and sister weren't dead. She sees her dad accidentally at the mall and even though it's been ten years it was no doubt it was her dad.
And her sister was in a psychiatric hospital after her boyfriend killed himself. Except that's not true either.
Nina is in shock over the video that Grace sent her. Adrian is in the video telling his friend how he never cared for her and was just getting his revenge for his brother's death.
She makes plans to meet her dad at her work so that her mom doesn't find out. When he tells her why he is on the run, her world is rocked. She finally knows the truth.
This book finally gives us the answers we have been searching for, but even as Nina is finally getting the truth Adrian is finding out that his whole life has been a lie. His parents have been lying the whole time.
What an amazing ending to this story! Dina Rask has left us with clues and twists through this series and this final chapter gave even more surprises.
The series is action-packed and full of suspense. I highly recommend this series!
