This book is intense! Both William and Vivianne have deep scars from their past and though he knows that Vivianne will be a distraction and may be put in danger he can't keep away.
This book is action-packed and full of sexual chemistry. The book is very well written and the plot kept me turning the pages. The characters are fully developed and very relatable. William has been through h3ll and now is out to make those responsible pay with their life. You can feel William's masculinity and dangerous power coming through the pages. His story will bring you to tears.
Vivianne and her sister have their own scars, but she fully embraced the future her aunt and uncle gave them when they were rescued from a childhood no one could imagine. Vivianne gives William the hope he thought had been taken away from him.
This book ends on a cliffhanger, but I highly recommend this book! From the first page you are pulled into intense attraction between William and Vivianne and sadness and rage at what they have had to endure. This is the first book I've read by Colet Abedi, but won't be the last. Can't wait to start from the beginning of this series about William's brothers Clayton and Michael.
