REVIEW - LOVING THE ENEMY by RS Elliot

Jared was a History Professor at St. Francisville University and was giving a lecture on Louisiana and their small town's contribution to the rich history of the state.

As soon as he left the lecture hall a fellow professor cornered him.  He didn't know how to get across that he just wasn't interested without being outright rude and was thankful when one of the department board members called his name.

That was until he was told that a new assistant professor was starting the next day and they wanted him to help her settle in and monitor her progress.

I loved this book.  It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.

Hannah was Jared's best friend Tyler's younger sister and they hated each other.  All she could remember from her childhood was Jared bullying her and he remembers an annoying pest who always tried following him and Tyler.

Although they immediately locked heads when she arrived at the university, Hannah and Jared realized they had more in common than they thought.  Now they just had to keep their relationship hidden from family and work until they figured out what they were doing.

I love the back and forth between Hannah and Jared and how they push each other's buttons.  They have wonderful relationships with their families and when Hannah is threatened, Jared realizes that she is more important than his career.

Highly recommend.
