REVIEW - DON'T LET THE MUSIC DIE by Annmarie Boyle

Matt Taylor stepped onto the stage in front of a sold-out screaming crowd begging for an encore.  It was hard to believe that just eight months ago their label threatened to drop them if they didn't write an all-original album.

But look at them now!  They are debuting their new album at the Ryman Auditorium to a sold-out audience.  The Ryman, a place for legends like Elvis and BB King!  This is where Johnny met June, but somehow Matt, Andrew,  Blake, Nick, and Joe, a five-man country a capella group, Storyhill, made it.

And they're making more history tonight as the legendary songwriter Grace O'Connor, who co-wrote the album with their bassist, is standing on stage in shock as Andrew is on his knees proposing.  Taking Matt back nine years when it was him on his knees.

After six years of dating and she said 'no' and walked away.  Everyone thought he was all flash, no substance.  Good looking, good for a flirt and a good f#ck, but nothing else.  Why couldn't anyone see beyond the surface?

Avery was trying to treat today like any other day, but today the Avery Lind Show, country music's morning show, is airing their first nationally syndicated show.  She finds out 30 minutes before air time that her first guest had to cancel due to laryngitis.

If only she had seen the email sent last night, she wouldn't have been shocked speechless when she turns around to see that her interview will now be with Matt Taylor.  She has a new name, new hair color, maybe he won't recognize her.  And nine years have brought some changes to Matt also - how did she not know he was related to Thor?  Why does he have to look so good?

I loved this book.  I fell in love with the band in LOVE ME LIKE A LOVE SONG and I am more in love with them after reading this book.  The book is well written and the characters dig into your heart.

Avery made decisions and designed her life from misconceptions and didn't know how to right her wrongs.  Matt is gorgeous and charismatic but has serious self-image issues thinking no one took him seriously because of his looks.

This book has a wonderful storyline and I really connected with all of the characters.   I smiled, laughed, and had a few tears.  I seriously couldn't put this book down.  Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the band, and maybe Avery's sister, get up to in the future!
