Kenni and Wils were fishing on the bank of the pond and their fingers were reaching for each other when her brother Jack yells from the other side of the pond. I loved this book!!! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. I think this is the best description I have ever read "his body could start a fire in the rain"...wow! Jack is determined to get past Kenni's walls and has done everything in his power to let her know how much he loves her. Kenni is having a hard time letting go of the past.
This book is action-packed from page one and brings back special memories of my time joining the team on the field celebrating a league championship. There is no better feeling than being on a baseball field surrounded by screaming fans celebrating a victory. She nailed it in Wils and Kenni's story.
This book is steamy hot, but also so heartbreaking. My eye ducts are drained from all the tears. So get your Kleenex ready for this amazing story! This is the first book that I have read by Kristen Lee but it won't be the last!
