REVIEW - HOT MOUNTAIN MAN SUMMER by Poppy Parkes

Jack is sitting in the kitchen of his childhood home which felt both strange and familiar.  His pregnant sister was chastising him for not visiting enough.  After their parents had died in a car crash when he was sixteen he had raised Summer, but as soon as she turned eighteen, he had joined the army.  Between losing his parents and all he saw in the military he now hides away in the mountains living a simple life.

He would love to have his sister's life.  Someone to love and hold, but who would want a demon plagued veteran. Who would want to give up civilized comforts to live with him in the mountains?

Sunshine loves the city but was glad to escape the online haters who became real life stalkers about one of her paintings that had gone viral.  Women loved it, but men hated it.  Her brother had just picked her up from the airport and when they arrive at his home he teases her she might have to fight for a muffin.  She runs into the house expecting it to be her sister-in-law who is eating for two, not the most beautiful man she has ever seen.  Her sister-in-law's older brother.

This is a insta-love, age-gap forbidden romance.  It is very well written and a quick read.  Highly enjoyed.
