Feeney is outraged and confused when she finds out that her parents have betrothed her to someone whom she has never even met without her knowledge or permission in order to close a business deal. She needs to hide from her insane parents while she tries to figure out how to support herself. 

So she packs up what she can carry on her person since everything she has - credit cards, bank accounts, and even her car - are held jointly with her father. 

Luke needs a nanny desperately. His wife died 2 years ago from pancreatic cancer and he is still trying to pick up the pieces of his life. So even knowing that Feeney is a spoiled rich girl he hires her to be a nanny to his 4-year-old son.

I laughed so hard I cried reading this book! I loved the characters and seeing Feeney struggle with cooking and taking care of Luke's son. But, DID NOT expect the major twist at the end of this book!!! I highly recommend this book!
