REVIEW - SAVAGE by Caitlyn Dare

Sadie learned fast that when bikers drink they talk and that's how she found out that not only were Rhett and River Savage moving in but that her father had loved their mother.  Who had been his best friend's wife that he promised to watch over after his death.  Yeah, he watched over her alright except for the part where she ODed and died.

Rhett with his blue eyes and tattoos was cocky and was sin wrapped up in muscles.  She couldn't stand him and especially hated how her father treated him like the son he never had.  River was as opposite as she could be from Sadie's dark as night curly hair and green eyes and curves to spare.  River looked like an innocent Barbie doll with her slim petite frame and long golden hair.  And Sadie was the furthest from innocent as you could get.

Sadie's dad is the Prez of Savage Falls Sinners MC club and she was their princess and the town and fellow students at Savage Falls High let her know what they thought about her and her family.  So she did everything she could to stand apart and rub it in their faces.  She pushed the limits with her short leather skirts, fishnet stockings, leather boots, and sultry makeup.  And an F-You attitude that kept them all away.

It kills Rhett that he can't provide a real home for his sister and instead of keeping her far away from his life in the MC, she's now living in the prez's house.  At least it wasn't at the clubhouse and he knew she would be safe.  But, the last person he wants near his innocent sister is Sadie.

Rhett is furious when he finds out that the prez has enrolled him and Dane at Savage Falls High School.  Who cares if he finishes high school.  His life is with the motorcycle club and working in the garage.

Dane is Rhett's best friend and MC prospect.  Sadie had mostly avoided Dane since he traded being best friends with her to Rhett years ago.  But, now she doesn't have much chance of avoiding him and his gorgeousness as her dad has evidently sent Rhett and Dane to babysit her at school.

Wes' father has been determined to take down the Savage Falls Sinners MC club for as long as he can remember.  He doesn't understand why he is so determined since as far as he can tell they are making sure there are no drugs on the street and watching over the town to keep it safe.

Sadie doesn't understand why she is so fascinated with Wes.  He may be gorgeous with dirty blonde hair and so so blue eyes, but he is also friends with Evan, the bain of her existence who has a vendetta against her and has made the previous three years of high school a nightmare.

I love this book!  It is very well written and draws you into the story immediately with Sadie's animosity towards Rhett and River moving into her house.  You can feel her hatred of being lied to by her father and her jealousy when she sees his interactions with them.

This book is action-packed and full of suspense.  The chemistry between Sadie and Rhett is volcanic especially since Rhett claims that Sadie belongs to him, but refuses to admit to liking her and doesn't understand how he can be jealous but know that she belongs to both Dane and himself together and wouldn't have it any other way.

Caitlyn Dare pulled me into this story with these amazing characters.  You laugh at Sadie's payback on Evan.  You cheer River on as she tries to finally have a normal childhood instead of being smothered by her brother.  And I have no words for how hot her relationship with Rhett and Dane with all their push and pull.

This book is scorching hot and you know you are reading a great book when it is running movie style in your brain as you are reading.  This book is book one of a duet and leaves you with a cliffhanger, but I am telling you that this book is amazing and you definitely want to read it.  I can't wait to see what Caitlyn has in store for Sadie, Rhett, Dane, and Wes in Sacrifice, book two of this series.
