REVIEW - SCORING WITH HIM by Lauren Blakely

Grant is on his way to Arizona for his first Major League Baseball Spring Training Camp hoping to lock down the catcher's position.  It has been his dream since he was six years old to be a Major League baseball player and he needs to have one focus and let nothing distract him from baseball.  And then he runs into, quite literally, the team's shortstop Declan, who he has a major crush on.

Declan has one rule.  Don't date a baseball player and it goes without saying especially if they are on your team.  Until the rookie, Grant shows up trying for the catcher's position.  He will not let this be a distraction.

This is a book of forbidden romance.  Two men on the same Major League baseball team trying to fight their growing attraction to each other.

This is my first time reading a MM romance and I found this book to be well written and the characters engaging.  The storyline is wonderful and Grant and Declan are both awesome.  The book left me a bit sad at the end for both Grant and Declan, but especially for Grant.  

This book does have cliffhangers, but it is truly worth the read and I can't wait to see how they play out in the next book.
