REVIEW - FACES IN SHADOW by Tessa Carr

Molly felt she had been followed for a while and kicked herself for working late.  Just as she was stepping into her car a cloth soaked in chloroform covered her nose and mouth and she's out cold.

She wakes up to find herself facedown tied spread-eagled to an iron bed. A man with a mask covering his face and calling himself The Collector was systematically cutting off her clothes and leaving her naked.

Mitch is responding to a call that an unconscious woman was being hauled into a house.  When they find her in the basement she's in bad shape.  The EMTs say she's lucky to be alive as she's in a diabetic coma.

This is my first novel by Tessa Carr.  I found the book to be well written and the storyline and characters are wonderful.  Mitch is demanding and Molly is feisty.  Highly recommend this book.
