Sara moves back home to Pennyside when she lost her job as a decorator in New York. When her mom shows disappointment that she also broke up with her boyfriend she blurts out that she came home because she's getting married. This is surprising because she's not and now she has to give her mom a name.
Evan works with his brothers at the family investment firm and half the time he hates it. He much rather be under the hood restoring cars and spends all his extra time underneath a car.
I love this book! Sara and Evan are hilarious. Their engagement lies just keep getting them into further problems. They go from best friends to steamy hot which just makes their problems more confusing. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more books by Ella Parker.
