They practically raised him along with their own sons, Cody and Riley. He finally asked if he could come back home after leaving without a word 9 years ago. Leaving the Marines with a medical discharge he was finally ready to go home and face his past.
I love this book and meeting new people in Jetty Beach along with those already met. You've gotta love Clover (if you haven't read Messy Perfect Love you have to!) and her crazy ideas! Hunter is this huge tatted Marine with a soft heart determined to complete his mission. This book is definitely a tear-jerker, but not in a heartbreaking way. Can't wait to finish the series and see who is next to fall in love. Highly recommend Claire Kingsley!
