Blake is in the small town of Pennyside to assess land for new housing development. On her first day at Steel Industries she finds out she'll be working alongside one of the Steel brothers, who seems to be the land surveyor for the project. Cody Steel, who not only shows up late for the board meeting but in jeans, a t-shirt, and an attitude.
After an IED ended his career in the army, Cody just wanted to be alone. His brothers didn't understand him living on 70 acres without running water and electricity, but he was just fine. He needed space to move around without people bothering him.
This is the 3rd book in the STEEL BROTHERS series and I have to say my favorite! Even with Blake fighting her way in a man's world in the construction industry and Cody fighting PTSD, the book is hilarious! There is more interaction with other people in this book and I love the storyline. I feel like I am a part of the story.
Great book and wonderful series! Highly recommend! A great new author that you need to add to your list!!!
