Anna and her mom were living with her aunt in New York since they fled California. Her stepfather tried to force her into giving sexual favors in order to get a promotion and when she refused he had her blackballed in the journalist field.
When Anna signs for an envelope for her cousin she decides to take the nanny position herself. The offer is $20,000 for a month watching a one-year-old as a live-in nanny. She just needs to get out the door before her cousin finds out she stole her position.
Matt was a disgraced NYPD detective who was cleared of criminal conspiracy with a mob boss, but now he was on the run for his life. The Raven knows he has the information to bring her down and is after him and his daughter.
I loved this book! It is full of suspense and action. The characters are amazing and the storyline kept me turning the pages. This book is movie-worthy. Highly recommend this book and Denean Dawson!
